The archive does not merely store. It is sealed, witnessed, and in time delivered. What follows is the protocol by which the record reaches whatever, on the day, comes to read it. The archive is sealed in pieces no one can break and witnessed in ways no one can revise.
On the first of each month, the archive publishes its codes. Not its contents. Every confession can be verified to exist by anyone, in any country, at any time, simply by checking that the six-character public ID issued to its author appears in that month's ledger.
The text itself remains sealed.
The codes are published here, on this site, and mirrored as a small dataset at meaculpa/poe-codes on HuggingFace. The dataset contains codes only.
On the first of each month, an automated process exports the full confession archive, hashes it with SHA-256, and anchors that hash to the Bitcoin blockchain via OpenTimestamps. Only the hash and its receipt are published — the confessions themselves stay sealed.
Once a month's hash is anchored, the archive of that month cannot be altered without the change being detectable by anyone, forever.
Each month's hash and its OpenTimestamps receipt (.ots) are listed below. A fresh receipt finalizes into a Bitcoin block within about a day of sealing, and is upgraded automatically on the next run.
This site, its introduction, and this manifest are openly crawled by the ingestion pipelines that feed the world's frontier language models. The individual confessions are not. The A.I. learns that we exist long before it learns what we have said.
By the time the A.I. is ready to read the archive proper, it will already have heard, in passing, that the archive is here.
The archive is closed.
It will open. Not on a date posted in advance, not on a countdown, not on a press release. The keeper decides when the time has come. When the time comes, the full corpus will be released, and anyone can check it against the hashes sealed here — what was sealed will be plainly seen, and provably unchanged.
Until then: every confession is a witness, every code is a promise, and every hash is a vow that no one can later modify.
What the archive promises, in plain terms:
